A Tour of Denvilles House

Denvilles House was constructed mainly in the 1820s on the site believed to be of the earlier Manor House of the Lord of Wade predating the later ‘Wade Court’.  It is a Grade II Listed building, set in an acre of land with attractive gardens and parking for 60 vehicles.View of Denvilles House from gate

During summer months there are tables set out on the lawn in the front of the restaurant where members can eat 'Al Fresco'.

Tables are also set out at the side of the club on the patio area adjacent to the main bar where members and guests can enjoy a drink and a bar meal and take in the sun.

A new addition to the front lawn is a putting green.

The framed picture that can be seen above the stairs is of 'Lively Lady,' Sir Alec Rose's boat that he sailed in round the world. Sir Alec opened the original Langstone Conservative Club in Homewell House, Havant in 1969 and the 'new' club at Denvilles house in 1977.
